Graiguenamanagh Book Weekend - Town of Books 16th - 18th September 2011 (to be confirmed) Graiguenamanagh is also known as the "Town of Books". This annual festival is a must for all book lovers. Temporary bookshops appear all over the village in addition to the regular ones. Complimentary book trail maps are available throughout the village. Both collectors and bargain hunters are equally welcomed. Graiguenamanagh Féile Freaney - Traditional Music Weekend 16th - 18th September 2011 (to be confirmed) Féile Freaney is organised by the Graiguenamanagh branch of Comhaltas. The first festival was held in 2007. The music festival and workshops are mainly for the purpose of encouraging and improving the musical skills of young musicians in the surrounding areas. Graiguenamanagh has a wealth of musical talent and traditional music has always been celebrated and enjoyed by the local people and so the festival continues to grow from year to year. Michaelmas Festival - Graiguenamanagh/Tinnahinch 23th - 25th September 2011 (to be confirmed) This annual festival is a a fun day out for all the family. Events include: live music, demonstrations (mediaeval re-enactment, felt making, wood turning and carving, farrier etc), dog agility show, duck race, children's slide, and numerous stalls (crafts, clothes & food).
Duiske Concerts - Graiguenamanagh November 2011 (dates to be confirmed) The Duiske Concert Season is staged every November in the unique setting of Graiguenamanagh’s 12th century Duiske Abbey.
